You’d Never Think ..

Still love this…timeless

Universe, God..whoever is in charge…can I get a sighting too?..arghh to think that I was just in Peckham as well…*sighs

Oh and a Duet!..well kinda

Luv this one even more

strayyy dawwwwg ..ooooohhh..hey heyyyyyy

You’re staring at the same old view

Held on fast – it became old news, yeah

I’ll be gone ‘fore long
At least I’m gone now
Hallelujah for that

Now you know what you lost
Now you are the thieves that you pardon
Search for need that will never come
Hallelujah for that

There’s more for their own now
It’s time for me to forget
I don’t need a reason to, so
So long
Stray dog
You’re only joker, no
Joker no more

Oh, to each their own
But when you can call on your mind
Just crying to hold back the tears sometimes
Wasted, wasted
Before you forget what you came here for

And you need to see the signs
And you need to stop wasting time
And selling the same damn story
The story that you heard before
And I waited for you but you were long gone

Stray dog
You’re only
Only stray joker, no
Joker no more
Stray dog

Mr Boooojangles…Missing YOU

Beat …Tan tan tan ..whisles..tan tant tan …I knew a Man , Booooojangles

Stand up, sing and whistle as you dance…

I knew a man Bojangles and he danced for you in worn out shoes
With silver hair, a ragged shirt and baggy pants, the old soft shoe
He jumped so high, he jumped so high, then he lightly touched down
Mr. Bojangles, Mr. Bojangles, Mr. Bojangles, dance!

I met him in a cell in New Orleans, I was – down and out

He looked to me to be the eyes of age as he spoke right out

He talked of life, he talked of life, he laughed, slapped his leg a step

He said his name, Bojangles, then he danced a lick across the cell
He grabbed his pants a better stance, oh, he jumped up high, he clicked his heels

He let go a laugh, he let go a laugh, shook back his clothes all around

He danced for those at minstrel shows and county fairs – throughout the South

He spoke with tears of fifteen years how his dog and he traveled about
His dog up and died, he…after twenty years he still grieved
He said “I dance now at ev’ry chance in honky tonks for – drinks and tips
But most of the time I spend behind these county bars” – he said “I drinks a bit”
He shook his head and as he… I heard someone ask …Then he shook his head.
Lord, when he shook his head,
I could swear I heard someone
say please, please, please.
Mr. Bojangles.
A-Mr. Bojangles.
Mr. Bojangles.
Come back and dance a dance,
please dance,
come on and dance now.
A-Mr. Bojangles,
Mr. Bojangles,
Mr. Bojangles,
Come back and dance,
Mr. Bojangles.

Missing you the Greatest Voice of all says it all

Since you’ve been away
I’ve been down and lonely
Since you’ve been away
I’ve been thinking of you
Trying to understand
The reason you left me
What were you going through?

I’m missing you
Tell me why the road turns
Ooh ooh
I’m missing you
Tell me why the road turns

As I look around

I see things that remind me
Just to see you smile
Made my heart fill with joy
I’ll still recall
All those dreams we shared together
Where did you run to, boy?

I’m missing you
Tell me why the road turnse399d4273735628
Ooh ooh
I’m missing you
Tell me why the road turns

Sometimes I’ve wondered
I didn’t understand
Just where you were trying to go
Only you knew the plan
And I tried to be there
But you wouldn’t let me in

But now you’ve gone away boy
I feel so broken hearted
I knew the day we started
That we were meant to be
If only you’d let me!
I’ve cried so many tears
Gotta face now all my fears
We let time slip away
I need you boy
Here today!

There was so much you gave me
To my heart
To my soul
There was so much of your dreamsimagesGLOBE1
That were never told
You had so much hope
For a brighter day
Why were you my flower
Plucked away

I’m missing you
Tell me why the road turns
Ooh ooh
I’m missing you
Tell me why the road turn

A Sad day.

Another. Injustice.

“A Child is Dead & The Man that Killed Him is Free & Again The Child is Black…My Country Tis of Thee?” Steve Harvey.

Trayvon Martin: 17 Year Old Black teenager: DEAD

George Zimmerman, Executioner:  NOT GUILTY

I hope that African-Americans will find a way out of America one day as it appears they will always be struggling to achieve Justice and Equality regardless of how many sacrifices they make.

On a day like this, with an African-american President..this still happens?

Trayvon Martin symbolises our Sons, our Nephews our Uncles, our Brothers, Husbands, any black male walking on this planet can be executed the way he was. A REAL CHANGE HAS TO COME And it has to come from us…

Just sad. A very sad day.

Comme le Beaujolais on se languit de le consommer sans moderation.

How wonderful to celebrate a Re-birth/ Re-naitre with a big Hollywood-let’s connect-with-smart-people-and actually-bring something positive-with all this wealth and opportunities-Party!

Marking a break from the old and moving into new spheres of what appears to be a very promising web of connection.

So, we have a Rover looking at a Map to the Stars whilst attempting a Black listed Mission, but a Queen in the Desert is still uncertain he will actually show up. Shall we Hold on to him?

It’s worth giving it a try.

Caught a glimpse of Rob in Cannes this year, well on wall anyway…

cannes rob

But the great news would be if Polly Stenham wrote a new play which Rob will act in.

Now that the Showmance is so over, many have high hopes!

I still have dreamy moments of Tom Sturridge performance and beautifully honest portrayal of Robin in “No Quarter”

Could  Stenham write a brutally relevant and well crafted Play that Pattinson could pull off?

I would pay Mills$ to see that.

I hope it’s on the pipeline..somewhere.

Missing Actors

marlon-brando-wallpaper_159529-1600x1200I miss Actors.

I miss Good Actors and Pubic figures who can stand up for something positive without being asked.

I miss Actors who can swept your heart away in their films but also leave you with something about their personality worthy enough to to be inspired with and trigger a call to action to better yourself and others.

I miss Actors or Public figure who will make enough money in one film and have the decency – or humanity rather – to donate enough to other causes. What have the billions made with silly teen franchise given back to society? I wonder.

I miss being inspired by Actors and Public figures.

I miss Marlon Brando.

I miss the Paul Newmans, the Elizabeth Taylors.

We still have Sydney Pointier and Harry Belafonte to call out this generation of Actors.

As un-perfect their life may have been, they exude an INTEGRITY in their public persona and stood for others.

If anyone would care to watch the 1973 Marlon Brando interview with Dick Cavett politely refusing to waste time on promoting the iconic film – The Godfather – but instead steering the discussion on the treatment of Native Americans and the threats they faced at the time.

HE truly use his fame to highlight the despicable portrayal of Native Americans or Indians as they were known at the time. HE really was an essential force in changing the public perception of what Hollywood has forced-fed the world.

Except Ben Affleck and George Clooney, somehow standing  up for something with reasonable talent, all the rest are a waste of space so far.

This new generation of Actors, Public figures are too busy staging their paparazzi photoshoot to even take notice of others. Ben Affleck boldly turned away from the Bennifer Circus and is taking an active role in advocating for positive, tangible and long term change in Congo . Directing and acting in worthy material.

Whilst others are lacking that courage.

I miss Actors. I miss good Actors who stood for something.

Quotes from Marlon Brando are revealing of the nature of a truly great character.

“An actor is at most a poet and at least an entertainer.”

“The more sensitive you are, the more likely you are to be brutalised, develop scabs and never evolve. Never allow yourself to feel anything because you always feel too much.”

“The only thing an actor owes his public is not to bore them.”

“I don’t want to spread the peanut butter of my personality on the mouldy bread of the commercial press.”

“If there’s anything unsettling to the stomach, it’s watching actors on television talk about their personal lives.”

I miss Actor and Public figures who have a Conscience.
